About M Radwan

81685493_2417354551706809_8561527034059161600_nmrlogo-b Mohamed Radwan, is an International award-winning architect and multi-disciplinary designer. Radwan is the Principal Architect of RAD studio, and Design studio manager at LEAD group. Between 2012 and 2016, Radwan was a Teaching Assistant at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and a lecturer at the Arab Academy of Science and Technology, in the fields of Graphic Design, Architecture, and Interior Design. He is still a visiting lecturer in a number of universities including Cairo University.

In 2008, Radwan founded Radwan Architecture & Design Studio (RADs) an elaborate design practice, working in the areas of interior design, architecture & experiential design. And in 2019 he founded his Name Brand, M Radwan Designs, where he is more focused on product design. Radwan is deeply invested in experimenting with the fusion of Egyptian heritage, with contemporary design trends and processes, and using Design Thinking as a problem-solving method, to achieve innovative design solutions.

Radwan has won DNA Paris Design Awards 2020, in the responsible design category, and Bronze A’ Design Award 2021, in the office furniture category, for his anti-covid19 office pod system design “Qwork Pods”.

In October 2021, Radwan was recognized as a Design Hero for the year 2021, by A’ Design Award, in Como, Italy.

In April 2020, together with his cofounders Amr Orensa and Hisham el Essawy, Radwan Founded Cairo Designathon, Egypt and the MENA region’s first and only collaborative design marathon.

Radwan is also an international award-winning graffiti artist, selected in 2016, by Talenthouse as the winner in the International Warner Brothers/DC Comics Visual Art Challenge. Radwan is deeply passionate about Street Art, and its intersection with the built environment.

Throughout his carrier, Radwan received considerable international and national attention for his work, and was featured in hundreds of news outlets, as well as making appearance on numerous TV Channels, including CNN, Yahoo News, Business Insider, Daily Mail UK, MSN News, Design Boom, Yanko Design, Canal+, Global Street Art, NYC Street Art, Al Ahram, Al Watan, Youm 7, MBC 2, and TEN TV, among many others.
